Get ready for an eye-opening journey into the heart of sustainable forestry! On February 21, 2026, the UBC Research Forest in Maple Ridge will host an extraordinary event titled 'Not-So-Clear-Cut: Rethinking How We Harvest Forests'.
This isn't your typical forestry seminar. It's an immersive experience! Participants will embark on a two-hour guided walk with Dr. Suzanne Simard, a renowned professor and author of the captivating book 'Finding the Mother Tree'. She'll be joined by Hélène Marcoux, director and forester at the Malcolm Knapp Research Forest.
